Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are structures designed to restrain soil to unnatural slopes. They are used to bound soils between two different elevations often in areas of terrain possessing undesirable slopes or in areas where the landscape needs to be shaped severely and engineered for more specific purposes like hillside farming or roadway overpasses .

At 1Geo, we have replaced and repaired hundreds of retaining walls, predominantly in the Port Hills. Our team has gathered irreplacable skill in this area, and are the preferred supplier of retaining wall services to many insurance and construction firms.

To increase the property owner’s options with respect to retaining walls, we have a number of Injection Underpinning machines, anchoring retaining walls to the bedrock behind  to increase their strength at a lower cost than fully replacing a wall with minor damage.
